The Workstation is a drop-side body system designed for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of between 3.5 and 18 Tonnes. The system was designed in 2004/5 with the intention of being more user friendly, offering better payloads and of being safer than existing designs.

Workstation has introduced numerous technical advances, however three in particular have Patent applications lodged against them. The first is the Sub-frame which is the first to be universal. The benefit derived is that it is not necessary to know the chassis marque at the point of manufacture. The Workstation Sub-frame also contributes to the lowest loading height available against any given chassis. The second is the insulation system which offers the benefit of retrospective installation at any point in the vehicles life. The third and perhaps the most important is safe access. The Workstation safe access system is the only drop side tipper access to offer a full three points of contact climb, whether the sides are up, down, or in combination.
